What is my brand’s voice?
I was asked to describe my brand’s voice, a question by Canva when setting up my Brand Kit, so I went over to ChatGPT to find the answer, and this is my rabbit hole. I have come to the point where I want more from my social media. I have had a seller and a buyer in the past couple months from engagement with Facebook and Instagram. Until very recently, I have been spending a few hours of my day creating graphics, checking, and virtually engaging on a whim because I think it’s important. These efforts are accompanied by floor time, gardening, and updating my CRM after open houses and other prospecting activities. My sphere conversion depends on it.
For my brand’s voice, I try to show professionalism with personality through immediate engagement with the platforms. Despite my efforts, or because of them, I hired Presence Guru, the sister company to MoneyShotSRQ. A lot of agents are leaving their one-note photographers for MoneyShotSRQ Studio Owner Jersey Gustek’s digital creativity. He creates digital avatars that look, act, and sound like you. Back to Brand Voice. At its core, you might choose to seem confident yet casual and friendly. That will serve as the magnetic pull that attracts and retains your audience. Here’s a breakdown of how I have been trying to bring this personality of mine to life:
Graphics
Think of your graphics as the visual handshake of your brand, the first impression draws people in. These images are characterized by a bright and inviting color from the Coldwell Banker palette guide that resonates with positivity and energy. The designs are clean, with a touch of playfulness, to communicate approachability and creativity. Each graphic is tailored to echo my brand’s voice — confident in its message, professional in its appearance, and friendly in its appeal. Whether it’s infographics, social media posts, or website banners, your graphics tell your story at a glance. Be sure to make complex ideas easy to understand and engaging.
Videos are the voice of your brand in motion, a dynamic way to showcase your personality. They range from behind-the-scenes glimpses, tutorials, to customer testimonials, all shot in a style that feels like a conversation with a friend. The tone is always uplifting and inclusive, making viewers feel a part of your brand’s journey. Your videos are not just about selling a product or service; they’re about sharing experiences, insights, and values. This approach helps in building a deeper connection with your audience, making your brand more relatable and trustworthy.
Fresh Content Daily
The heart of your brand’s interaction with its audience lies in the fresh content you deliver each day. This content, a mix of blog posts (like this one), social media updates, and email newsletters, is crafted to keep your audience engaged, informed, and entertained. The topics are diverse but always relevant, useful, and/or interesting (learned that in Journalism at Eckerd College) to your audience and its needs, showcasing your expertise through your brand and your commitment to adding value by understanding the audience.
Your writing style ought to be conversational, sprinkled with humor and warmth, making every piece of content feel like a chat with a friend over coffee. This consistency in providing new content not only helps keep your audience hooked but also establishes your brand as a go-to resource in our field.
Communication Style
Your communication is direct yet engaging, making complex ideas easy to understand and entertaining. Use storytelling to bring messages to life. Your tone should always positive, focusing on solutions not problems, which helps build a hopeful and empowering atmosphere around your brand.
Your brand’s unique personality and the way you communicate with your audience on social media and through your website should create a distinctive presence that’s hard to overlook.
By combining confident, casual, and friendly tones with a daily dose of visually appealing graphics, captivating videos, and fresh blog content, you not only attract people to your brand but also forge lasting connections and build trust with them. Be patient with yourself.
This comprehensive approach ensures that your brand will stand out in our overcrowded field, making a memorable impact on your audience.
As I mentioned, I just hired the sister company to the multi-media company I used for listings and headshots and digital ai avatar videos. I have recently returned to general real estate by joining Coldwell Banker from working in new construction. Now to build a brand. I’m at beginning of turning over my social media to Presence Guru. Any suggestions? Have you used a company to manage your social media? I’d love to hear from you. Email Forest.Balderson@cbrealty.com.
